OVER 30 WRITERS CONTRIBUTE TO LANDMARK COLLECTION AVAILABLE NATIONWIDE
Love, West Hollywood: Reflections of Los Angeles is a passionate and groundbreaking collection of literary love letters honoring one of America’s most magical and magnetic metropolises. Over 30 gifted writers lead readers through doors closed long ago and a lyrical history that has been lost to the ages–until now. Edited by Chris Freeman and James J. Berg.
Linger in the lair of silent screen queen Mary Pickford, make merry with Marilyn Monroe and Montgomery Clift, take an acting class from an acid-tongued Lucille Ball and witness the gay and lesbian civil rights movement take root and flourish. Join celebrated storytellers including Patricia Nell Warren, Malcolm Boyd, Brad Taylor Negron, Mark Thompson and Terry Wolverton on the most unique and compelling sightseeing trip imaginable.
Whether careening down streets of broken dreams or at play in the Hollywood Hills, the voices of this city will call to you like sirens beckoning from an alluring shore. They welcome you to laugh out loud, hold your breath, cry a little and ultimately discover why so many people love West Hollywood.
Praise for Love, West Hollywood:

“Hats off to the editors of this rich, varied-voice collection from more than 30 contributors, who despite the title understood that L.A. is a place of many parts, with many hearts.” - Richard Labonte, Book Marks
“There is something for everyone here. The selections are all very different but they are tied together by the city. Reading them gives us both a sense of the past and a look at the present.” - Amos Lassen, Amazon.com
